HOW IT STARTED
WHY "DENVILLE-KANANI"?
WE START "SPORTHORSE" RIDING
HIGHLAND TRAINING JOINS US
OUR SPORTHORSE FOCUS INTENSIFIES
"TEAM DENVILLE"

HIGHLAND TRAINING  COMES ABOARD

By 1988, we realized that we needed something more. Our great good fortune was that Sarah Vernlund was also looking for something new, and a partnership was born. We built an additional barn, and Sarah moved in with a group of her eventing students. Through time, several area trainers have shared their expertise with us as a part of Sarah's Highland Training Stable. As each of them has moved on to form their own training businesses, we have continued to bring in excellent assistant trainers. Our enthusiastic and talented new trainers, Ruben Arce and Lucia Rapalyea, joined us at the end of 2000 and beginning of 2001. See our  TRAINER PAGE for more info on them. The final touch was the determination of a joint logo and barn colors, turquoise, grey and black.

WE FOCUS OUR ENERGIES
Once we had a dedicated training team on board, we moved along with our showing. Dennis took Mr World through Preliminary Eventing, before starting to show some of the Appaloosa/TB crosses that we had bred ourselves.
