Olivia has joined Denville Kanani in June, 2007 as our dressage instructor and young horse trainer, bringing with her a wealth of credentials and talent, as well as the two Dutch horses she brought back from Holland. In the past three months, she has sucessfully coached our Junior Championship competitors and has shown both her own horses and a young prospect of ours. She has won all of her classes! Since beginning her riding career at the age of 5, Olivia has accomplished the following: 1997- 2002 - in California Was a VERY successful Junior Rider in Dressage Consistently in the Top 3- CDS Junior Championships- Training through Third Level ABIC/USDF Training Level Junior CHAMPION CDS Horse of the Year First Level Amateur/Junior CHAMPION CDS Open Reserve Champion First Level Freestyle Was a VERY successful Junior Eventing Rider Area VI Training Level Reserve Champion Area VI Training Level CHAMPION 2002- 2005 - In Holland Was Assistant Rider and then Head Rider for Egbert Kraak at Stall De Craecken in Holland Presented horses to Kraak's top clients, including Gunter Siedel, Debbie MacDonald, and Anky Van Grunsven Competed in Holland on a variety of horses at a variety of levels 2005- 2006 - In Germany Offered jobs with both Johan Hinnoman and Udo Lange/Christilot Hanson-Boylen. Chose Lange/Boylen Received classical dressage instruction Competed Prix St George and Intermediare-1 at the National level Schooled her horse for Grand Prix Worked as Ms. Boylen's groom at many CDI's, learning the ins and outs of international competition 2006 - In Germany Worked for Ulla Salzgeber(German Olympic medalist and 3-time World Cup Champion) as rider and groom Worked with young horses and taught students Took Greek rider to the European YR/JR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006 - In California Returned home for two months to ride and teach at Sandy Howard's barn 2007- Jan- April- In Germany Returned to Germany to work for Ernst Hoyos (trainer of Lisa Wilcox and Ulla Salzgeber) as groom and rider at Stal/Gestut Tasdorf 2007 - June- August - Working at Denville Kanani Coached Denville Kanani riders at the Nor Cal Junior Championships- One Champion, One Third Place Showed her Dutch imported horses - Eight Classes, Eight First Places at 2nd and 3rd Level!
